I had the honor of photographing this family in their home recently (on the morning of 4th of July, actually!) I met mom briefly at a small, last-minute photographer outing with a few friends and I a while ago. And I knew I had to film a behind the scenes video for my upcoming workshop (more on that below) so I sent her a quick message to see if they’d be willing to model for me. It was perfect because I had never seen their house before, and I wanted to replicate a client session as best as possible. I was thrilled when she said YES! So on the morning of the 4th my husband came with me and shot a TON of behind the scenes footage, while we just hung out and took pictures. We had the best time… We arrived at the tail end of breakfast (oatmeal and a little coffee making), then the kids showed me their rooms, we played a little bit, headed outside to collect some eggs, then back inside to put baby girl down for a nap. It was so fun! Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
