dslr basics workshop | january 28th

{In case you were wondering… Yes, that is my son in those photos.  And yes, I did bribe him with chocolate chips so that we could take some shots in our backyard today.  Don’t mind his chapped lower lip.  I kept the photos unedited so you could see a clear distinction between AUTO and Manual.}

I’m really excited to share this with you all!  I will be having a DSLR Basics workshop on Saturday, January 28th from 3pm – 5pm.  We will cover the basics of using a DSLR (the title is so fitting, no?)

A brief rundown of what we will be discussing:

  • White balance
  • Focus
  • ISO
  • Shutter Speed
  • Aperture
  • And, most importantly, how to adjust these settings appropriately in your own camera
You must have a DSLR to participate.  Please bring it with you to class along with the manual.  I want to encourage lots of participation, practice and questions so I am really limiting the number of participants.  Four people have already registered.  If you are interested in participating please contact me as soon as possible.  (See my contact information on the flyer above or simply use the CONTACT ME button at the top of the blog).  OR you can register simply by clicking the “Buy Now” button below (you do not need to have a PayPal account to use this feature).
